MJ EXECUTIVE COACHING
MJ Executive Coaching is a professional coaching service that offers executive, leadership, and personal development coaching. The goal of this project was to create a modern, user-friendly website that clearly communicated MJ's services, showcased her expertise, and streamlined client inquiries.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
MJ initially had a website hosted on IONOS, which was outdated, difficult to navigate, and did not effectively reflect her brand or attract her target audience. Additionally, she wanted to retain her business email while transitioning her website to Framer for a more seamless and visually engaging experience.
RESEARCH
Before redesigning the site, I immersed myself in MJ’s business—her unique coaching approach, target audience, and how her online presence could better serve them. I analyzed top coaching websites for best practices, conducted user research to understand her clients’ needs, and had in-depth conversations with MJ to align the design with her vision. This collaborative process ensured a seamless, engaging experience that truly reflected her brand.
DESIGN
MJ’s original website lacked structure, making it hard for visitors to navigate and connect with her services. I redesigned the site with clarity in mind—creating a compelling Home page with a strong CTA, an About page that tells her story, and a Services section with clear coaching categories. A dedicated Testimonials page builds trust, while a streamlined Contact page simplifies booking. The result? A professional, user-friendly site that effortlessly guides potential clients to MJ’s coaching.
KEY AUDIT INSIGHTS
MJ’s outdated website made it hard for potential clients to understand her services or book sessions. Clunky navigation, a confusing content structure, and a complex inquiry process created unnecessary friction. Additionally, migrating the domain from IONOS to Framer while keeping email services intact added a technical challenge. A complete transformation was needed to streamline the user journey, boost engagement, and showcase MJ as the professional, approachable coach she is.
INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE
To create a seamless user experience, I restructured the website’s information architecture for clarity and efficiency. By organizing content into intuitive sections—Home, About, Services, Testimonials, and Contact—I ensured visitors could easily navigate and find relevant information. Clear categorization of coaching programs made it effortless for potential clients to explore offerings, while a simplified booking process reduced friction. Its outdated design raised security concerns, making users question its legitimacy and hesitate to submit personal information. Every element was carefully placed to ensure seamless navigation, from the homepage’s compelling introduction to the streamlined booking process. Once the structure was set, I moved into prototyping, refining interactions and testing usability to guarantee a smooth experience across all devices. This step was crucial in transforming ideas into a functional, visually engaging design that truly reflected MJ’s coaching philosophy.
